first time they'll give ya 50 bux
for the stuff that floats your blood cells
second time they'll give you 75
if you come before the week's done
you're gonna pay some bills
you're gonna help someone
like the old white men in all their posters
needing better blood
you're gonna lie on your paper work
about the marks on your body and the people you've loved
you're gonna pay some bills
you're gonna help someone
who probably doesn't even realize where their fix comes from
got a needle in your arm for the next hour
while every tube's spewin SVU
is that your best defense?
where's the evidence?
your veins aren't accepting their old occupants
throw em in trash and give me the cash
i'm through
unsung
sought and bought
science needs the bodies
easy money is easy money
so sign the release form
praise those from whom all knowledge of side effects flow
praise those who use their bodies every way they know how
lay them down sweet tonight
A fantastic album. I can see why they didn't continue under the name The Evens, as it's a different sound with the bass added. Coriky is the Evens + Joe Lally from Fugazi on bass. If you can imagine The Evens with a slightly more funky, aggressive sound like Fugazi... that's what you get! And there's no way that can ever go wrong. What a great debut album!! smiledozer

The perfect album for the summer, you can just feel the hot days, being right there having the time of your life with your friends and the nights of introspection. ed_2099
